I wouldn’t sell this system back to Mike for less than $100, that’s how much I like it. He’s added a couple of more videos and a template to make it even better and easier to understand. I keep coming up with new ideas on how to use the system too.

I have read a product or two on list building, but this one was fantastic for one big reason. The speed and ease of implementation shown! I think you mean it when you say, ‘first sale in 72 hours‘. I have been DYING to get into list building and in fact just wrote a thread in the forum basically asking if all niches are ripe for list-building, or if some niches are not good for it. The instructions were VERY step by step, which is super helpful to follow.

Once you learn how to make $1, the rest is easy.

So most of the emails I get ask the same question over and over - “How do I get started?”

To be brutally honest with you, the best way to get started earning a good online income is a lot easier than most people think. There are literally hundreds of different ways to go about cracking that first buck, but by far the easiest and fastest way is this: Find a topic you love and write about it.

Most everyone has something they are passionate about. Whether it’s building models out of toothpicks, surfing, making homemade wine, or even skydiving, most people have at least ONE THING that interests them and they have spent time learning about.

Your FIRST and most important task is to discover that one thing.

Are you good at golf video games? Do you play Madden 2009 all night long? Are you a big time remote controlled car fanatic? Do you love growing tomotoes? Are you into cooking? YOU, grasshopper, must choose your own path.

You see, if you are really into something, then YOU know a lot more about it than most people do and others will be willing to pay for your knowledge - if it is presented correctly.

So the One Big Thing is to be an “expert” of sorts in your chosen topic.

And here’s why it’s important that you really like whatever that topic is… People will sense it. They will be able to tell because of the way you write and talk about the topic. You will have a built in excitement and enthusiasm that’s hard to fake.

Does this “One Big thing” have to be something you have done a long time? Not necessarily.

A few years back, I decided to try my hand at making my own wine. I started researching it and made several batches of wine at home. Although I made what you could call wine, it wasn’t exactly “good”. And I realized that other people would have the exact same problem when they were first starting out making wine.

I did a lot of research, checked out how much competition there was, and decided to write an ebook on making wine. At the time, there were 3 or 4 competing products on Clickbank.

I made a sales page using Nvu (a free webpage maker) got a hosting account, figured out how to upload stuff, and then got the product approved on Clickbank.

Within a few months, I had a few sales. Not many - like 3 at $17 - but it was enough to show me that people would pay for this kind of information.

I had no list, I didn’t use PPC. I just put the sales page up and then did a little link exchanging.

I soon realized that FOLLOW UP and a list were KEY to increasing sales and developing a list of people I could ask over and over to buy.

So I set up a “lead capture” page. I offered a “mini” version of my winemaking book for free. I used Pay Per Click to drive traffic to the landing page and started getting about 20 sign ups a day.

My emails to the people that signed up gave them more free info on how to make wine. Within 2 weeks, I had 20 sales!

And that, in a nutshell, is how I got started making money online. That site continues to bring in between $1,200 and $2,000 per month.

YOU can do the same thing. People will always try to sell you the “next big thing” and “secrets” but I’m here to tell you - there isn’t a big “secret”. All you have to do is find what you are passionate about, write about it, and put together a free mini product and a bigger detailed product.

You CAN do it.

All you need is a product to sell, a script that’s easy to use for the product countdown/limited time, and a source of targeted traffic.

This site has over 50 products that you can use as the sale product - every product also comes with it’s own sales page. All you need then is the script to make the countdown of time and product availability and you can get that here.

Now - when a “targeted traffic” buyer lands on the page, they can see that the number of products left is decreasing rapidly (especially if they come back later), and that the time remaining is dwindling as well.

This helps and gives the buyer an additional push to go ahead an buy now. Try it and see what happens to your conversion percentage!

First Up - The Two Secrets To Bum Marketing

What most people don’t understand is that you don’t have to get everything right all the time with bum marketing. You don’t have to be right all the time, you don’t have to be perfect all the time, you don’t have to be the greatest marketer of all time to make bum marketing work for you.

That’s the great thing.

You can be a complete beginner to bum marketing and Internet marketing and still make more money then many of the so called guru’s. This is why I’m such a fan of bum marketing and why I have gotten my family and friends onto bum marketing.

The first secret to bum marketing is….

Super Fast Writing

It sounds simple I know. But how many of you sit there and take 4 hours to write one article? You can’t do that. You need to churn out 5 articles an hour, at least.

Don’t sit there and go  “I can’t do that”.  Because you can.

I can write 5 articles an hour and still have time to play 15 minutes of Call of Duty on WII. Speed is essential when it comes to bum marketing. Your articles don’t have to be great. They can’t be utter rubbish, but they don’t have to be masterpieces of Pulitzer prize award stature.

I’ve shown my mother, my sister, my father, my best friend, my girlfriend how to write articles in a matter of minutes and I’m going to show you as well.

The secret to writing articles fast is not thinking. Don’t sit there and think about the article for 10 minutes before writing it. Just start writing.

It doesn’t matter what topic it is, just start writing.

The only source I use for research is Ezinearticles.com.

What I do is get the list of keywords I want to write articles for and then go to Ezinearticles.com and search the articles for topics similar to mine.

What people don’t understand is that all the research is done for you.

Your job is basically an article re writer. Every article topic imaginable has been written for you at Ezinearticles.com.

All you have to do is read the article and put it into your own words.

It’s that simple.

Don’t try and make your articles something amazing.

Write them quickly.

QUICK. Write quickly. Write like lightning. Force yourself to sit down and write and not move until you have 5 articles done every hour.

Why I say this is because the bum marketer with the most articles out there getting hits and traffic is going to win. To win, you don’t need the best articles, you need the most articles.

Understand this.

YOU need to be the most prolific writer out there to win.

I do not use auto generated content or article spinners. Every article I write is unique. Every article adds value to the Ezinearticles.com directory and gives the readers the information they need.

They are not long articles. 350 words to 500 words. I don’t use big words, I give them the information they wanted, and I give it to them quickly.

No fluff.

Imagine being able to get out 50 articles a day. 50 articles every day.

Let’s say you do that 5 days a week.

That’s 250 articles a week and this is very doable, even part time. To be the best bum marketer out there, you can’t expect to win by doing less then your competition.

You could easily work really hard for 6 months, get out 50 articles a day then take the next 6 months off.

Imagine only having to work 6 months of the year and the rest of the year your income is taken care of.

You will be getting checks for years to come from work you did 4 years ago.

I still do from articles I wrote many years ago.

Speed guys, speed is the #1 key to being the most successful bum marketer on the Internet. Work hard now and you will be the richest bum marketer on the Internet in 6 or 12 months guaranteed.

This is no joke.

Don’t want to write articles?

Fine, speak them.

Get a microphone and a copy of Audacity for free and away you go.

Go to Ezinearticles.com, find a keyword you want to write an article on and search Ezinearticles.com for articles on that topic.

Find an article, read that article into your own words into your microphone, record it, get it transcribed and away you go.

The second secret is….

Super Product Selection.

Nothing frustrates me more then seeing and hearing bum marketers saying they are writing all these articles and not getting any sales. I then go check out their articles and what they are promoting and it’s crap.

Literally.

Never ever select keywords to write articles on UNTIL you have a great product to promote. I always, always look for a product to promote before I do keyword research.

This is why I’m not a big fan of keyword lists you see floating around.

They are good to use for ideas and sometimes you find a few gems, but most of the keywords are rubbish because there is no decent products to promote with that keyword.

Then the next thing I see bum’s doing is using the keywords they found that fit the bum marketing criteria, they then write an article for that keyword and try and fit an unrelated product into their article by line and wonder why no one buys from them.

The best way to start with bum marketing is trying to dominate Clickbank first. Go to the Clickbank marketplace, see what is hot in all the categories, not just the Internet marketing category.

Find a product that is selling well, has a good sales letter and offers more then $10 per sale.

Just by looking myself, I found some really good products I will want to promote. One of those is on World Of Warcraft.

This is a PC game that is really hot right now. Now that I have found a good product to promote, I then do my keyword research.

All of those above keywords I would write articles on.

In fact, I have already begun to do this now.

Bum marketing is all about dominating.

You have to saturate the market with your articles to become the winner.

You need to dominate each product you promote. Don’t go into bum marketing half assed.

This is a sure way to fail or make a few sales here and there.

So to recap.

Find a product to promote before you even think about keyword research. Make sure the product is hot right now, which is easy to tell on Clickbank, which is why I recommend it, make sure it has a good sales page and the sales page is working fine, make sure it offers fair commissions and make sure also that the owner is contactable.

Then once the product fits that criteria, start doing keyword research and find at least 30 keywords to write articles on.

Keyword research is fun. I love it. I can spend hours researching keywords, which is a mistake as it takes away from writing articles.

But it’s so fun.

As I said above, the first thing to do is find a good product to promote. The next thing to do is keyword research.

You’ve read about affiliates making thousands of dollars using so-called “secret” tactics.

You’ve heard the hype, you’ve seen the websites and products that claim to be the road to riches.

Is it really possible to make over $1,000 on the internet in a single day?

The short answer is - yes.

This article will outline what it takes to successfully put up an affiliate campaign that will bring in over $1,000 in sales in a single day.

The first step is to get your ducks in a row. You must prepare your marketing material in advance. You cannot “do it on the fly” and expect huge returns. Everything must be planned and prepared.

Step 1: Film or create a promotional video.

The video can be created with a multitude of tools and creating an online video is a subject for another article. Once you have created your video, pick out about 8 video sites that you will submit it to when your other materials are ready.

When you post the video, you wan to make sure you also have a title and keywords that directly relate to the product you are promoting. Also - don’t forget about a link going to your landing page.

Step 2: Create and write 5 articles that are on the subject of the product you want to promote. The articles should be keyword rich and informative. They should be between 500 and 700 words. The key is to put a link to your promotional/landing page in your signature file or “resource box”.

Step 3: Create a couple of “free” hosted informational pages that link back to your landing page. These pages can have simple articles and excerpts from the other articles you have already written.

Step 4: Create a “landing page”. This is usually a review site that reviews the product you are promoting and has your affiliate link embedded in the page. All clickthrus go to the actual product sales page and carry your affiliate information to track sales.

Now you are ready for your “launch”.

Put up your landing page and then follow this step by step formula:

Submit the articles first. Sometimes these can take 3 or 4 days to get approved by article sites. You’ll just have to wait a few days until they start showing up.

Submit your videos and put up you free pages.

Now all you have to do is wait for sales.

Depending on the popularity of the keywords you have used, you should start seeing sales within 24 hours. If the product you are promoting is a popular one, you may even see multiple sales very quickly.

Using this system helps you to quickly dominate the first page of Google and other search engines for at least a few days for the keywords you have selected. The best part is: there is no pay per click advertising involved.

I’m not sure what you think or know about running a profitable online business, but the truth is you only need to do 3 things to make it work:

Affiliate product marketing produces a very good income for some marketers. For others, however, all it produces is a lot of work and expense with no results.

Why can one affiliate marketer drive off into the sunset in a Porsch while the other has to max out his or her credit card running ads and putting up sites?

The answer is simple: Tracking codes

Tracking codes on every page, site, article and ad tell you which promotions are producing results and which ones are not. Without them, it’s like shooting in the dark - if you shoot enough times you will eventually hit something but you have no idea which shot did the hitting.

I am going to break this down into three areas: Pay-per-click, SEO, and Article Marketing

Pay-per-Click(PPC)

While the most effective form of marketing, it’s also the most expensive. PPC can either make you a lot of money or lose you a ton. It all depends on which keywords and ads work. Without Tracking Codes, there’s no way to tell.

Each ad must be tied to a tracking code and each keyword must be tied to a tracking code. At the end of this article, I’ll give you some simple copy and paste code that can do this for you.

If an ad is working but only for 2 keywords, then you can eliminate all the others and make your campagin that much more profitable. If you are getting sales on 3 different keywords but only on 1 ad variation, then just use that ad.

The whole idea is to “optimize” your keywords and your ads for that one particular product until you have narrowed down which ad and keywords are making you money.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Some affiliate marketers will spend months getting their site up in the search engine rankings. It would be a shame to have all that effort go to waste. The only way to make sure there is a payoff once the site gets ranked is to use a tracking code on each page of the site.

If there are affiliate products on the site, you have got to know which pages are producing income and which ones are not. This little piece of information will tell you which pages to redesign or which products to switch out for others.

Here’s an old affiliate marketer saying for you - “Optimize, optimize, optimize”

Article Marketing

The same thing applies here: if you know which articles are working to generate traffic and sales, thenyou can go back and study those articles and write more of the same type. Or, if an article about a certain product produces a lot of sales, you can write more articles on that products subject.

Again, the whole secret of affiliate marketing is knowing where the sale came from - whether it was a PPC ad, a Web page, or an article.

So - how do you put in a tracking code?

I’ll give you two methods. There are more but these are the easiest.

The first is to include the tracking code in your affiliate link. Many affiliate sites like Clickbank make it easy to do.

For a clickbank prodcut that you are promoting on your Blog, you would use maybe BLOG for your tracking code so it would appear like this:

Want to be the next Internet millionaire?

You can buy that super cool product that promises you instant riches… or not. If you buy it, you are probably just going to help someone else be the next internet millionaire.

Most people never earn a dime on the internet. Why?

There are 3 basic reasons and we’ll explore them in this article. If you can overcome these three big things, you’ll be well on your way to actually earning real money on the internet.

Reason #1 - A Product

Most people do not have a product they can market. They can search and find affiliate products that pay commissions but these products require affiliate links AND there are thousands of competing affiliates. Simply put - to make money with a good affiliate product is very difficult. Sure, you’ll make a few sales now and then. BUT - in order to turn a profit, you’ll have to beat out the other thousand or so experienced affiliates at their own game…a daunting proposition.

What to do?

Find what are called Resale Products. These are products that not only show you exactly what to do online to sell and market, they ALSO have FULL RESALE RIGHTS. What that means is that you can “brand them” as your own and sell them all you want. Many of them come with their own “sales pages”.

Which leads us to reason #2 why most people don’t make money online:

They don’t have a good converting sales page.

The sales page is more important than the product. A good sales page can convert up to 6% of the people that look at it and read it. As mentioned above, some resale products come with their own sales pages. All you have to do is edit them for the payment link and upload them to your webhost. Pretty simple.

At a 5% conversion rate on a $20 product, you can spend a lot of money on pay per click ads and still make a very nice profit. At 5% conversion, that’s 1 of every 20 that look at the page. If you only spend 50 cents a click, you’ll do very well. In fact, you’ll DOUBLE your investment in advertising.

Reason #3 - Failure to Take Action

This is probably the biggest reason that almost no one makes any money on the internet. They will buy products, they will read manuals, they will research and research. But there is one thing they WON’T do. And that is - - DO SOMETHING. Take Action. Find a plan, get the big picture, and then GO WITH IT.

People these days seem to think that just knowing something will make them money. That’s as wrong today as it was 4,000 years ago. Knowledge, by itself, is worthless. However, knowledge, with ACTION on that knowledge is everything.

Will you take ACTION?

You have probably heard of a “landing page”, but you may have asked yourself: What in the heck is a landing page and what is it for?

In a nutshell, a landing page is the “holy grail”, the real insider secret of selling any product on the internet.

Here’s what a landing page is, and what it is for:

A “landing page” is the page where you send ALL of your “visitors”. Not buyers, not members, and not subscribers, but Visitors. It the the first place a new visitor should see on your site.

The landing page should list all of the benefits that your site offers - but briefly. And when I say a list, I mean list BENEFITS - not features. Tell the visitor why they will benefit, what they will gain, how they will make money, save money, lose weight, be happier, and on and on. Let them know the YOUR site has the solution to all of their problems. Of course, the benefits should pertain to your site content.

If your site is about skydiving, then you could list things like “learn the 3 things that will keep you alive every time you jump”. In other words, the content on your landing page needs to read like HEADLINES for your website. The headlines will be the benefits that your site offers to a prospective customer.

And then here is the key, the very most important thing that you will ever do: Tell the prospect that they can get all of the information instantly if they will just give you their name and email address.

That’s they “holy grail” of internet marketing. A mailing list of people who are interested in the topic or the items you are catering to.

You will need a sign-up form that is “hooked up” to an autoresponder. An autoresponder is an automatic marketing machine that you set up in advance to deliver about 50 email messages to the customer. These email messages direct the customer back to your site to discover something new and amazing each time they visit. A very good autoresponder, and one that I use is Aweber.com. It has super tutorials that guide you through setting everything up. Aweber also has great reporting functions and you can actually see which of your prospects is clicking and coming back to your site.

The big picture looks like this: You advertise via pay-per-click or via articles or links and you direct the visitors to your landing page. If your offer sounds interesting and exciting enough, they will sign up on this page. The email confirmation process will take them ito your real site and then, over time, they will receive your future emails directing them to interesting and exciting features of your site. Eventually, they will become customers.

All of them? Nope. But a good percentage of them. AND - you will make a profit.

I have over 2200 people on one of my lists for a smaller niche that I market to but it generates about 4 sales a day resulting in $91 in income per day - from just ONE of the niches I market to. Depending on the niche, or market, that you are trying to sell to, you could make hundreds of sales per day using this method.
